I applied for this position on LinkedIn and was contacted via LinkedIn by a recruiter. We had a phone interview where they asked the standard interview questions. Then they had me come in and shadow someone for about 45 minutes and then talk to the recruiter in person to discuss whether I can see myself working there and if I’m still interested. The last step was a panel-style interview where I stood in front of some of the execs and spoke about my accomplishments throughout my whole life, starting with childhood.
The last interview was definitely the most intimidating but they were all so friendly, it wasn’t so bad. They just want to make sure their candidates can handle the long hours and the workload, as well as fit in with the company culture. The whole interview process felt pretty simple and natural, and I think my process was longer than normal because I was in the process of moving to San Diego.
