HR screens resumes for position/skill compatibility. HR does a phone screen. Only with HR's blessing do candidates get passed on to managers. Phone screen is to determine corporate culture fit, not skills. Unskilled candidates are passed along to managers. Interviewers had no idea what the position actually entailed and concealed turnover rates. Questions asked did not ascertain my ability to perform the functions of the position.
