I got shortlisted, and my first round of interview was conducted by Dharshini. It was a good experience and lasted for almost an hour. They shared a link and asked me to write SQL queries — I solved all the queries and also answered some theory questions. Based on my performance, I was selected for the second round as well. In the second round, the process was almost the same. The interviewer asked me some theory questions and again shared a link to write a few complex queries. I completed them too. However, due to a slight lag in my system, I took a bit more time to analyze one query — and because of that, I got rejected. I got all the outputs correctly and answered every question. I feel it’s unfair to reject a candidate for such a minor reason. If I hadn’t answered properly, rejection would make sense — but this isn’t the right way. I don’t want to mention the interviewer’s name, but I can confidently say that throughout the session, I didn’t make a single mistake. I answered all the complex queries and even explained the Python and PySpark code. Honestly, I feel they’re just conducting interviews without any serious intent. So, please be careful — don’t waste your time unnecessarily.
