Firstly, there was a communication issue between the hiring manager and HR. HR sent an email to me stating it was a phone call interview but the clearly didn't state that the manager wanted it to be an in-person interview so it had to be rescheduled. The in-person interview was welcoming and the manager was browsing my resume. It seemed like he was reading it for the first time. An HR rep was on a video feed and asked me a few personality questions. The manager asked a few technical questions, nothing too in depth. It felt casual and I thought it went well. I first applied and didn't hear back until roughly 3 weeks later and after my in-person interview, I've not heard anything back in another 3 weeks whether they wanted to move forward or the courtesy to inform me that they went with another candidate. I reached out via email to the hiring manager on the status after my interview and haven't got any response. The communication has been terribly poor.
