J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Handshake (Denver, CO) en mars 2019
Entretien
I was recommended to the job by a current employee. This led to an email exchange, followed by an in person coffee meeting with a senior engineering lead as an initial screening.
From there I submitted a resume and had a 30-minute, remote, technical screen with a different software engineering lead.
After moving to the next stage, I was contacted by a representative from HR to confirm some non technical related information and then informed about a 4-hr remote interview block. This involved a "culture" interview conversation with an engineering lead followed by an architecture interview with a senior software engineer and then a 2hr half-solo/half-paired coding assignment where I built a small application.
After that I had a follow up call with HR, which was closely followed by an offer phone call and paper work.

Question 1
The initial technical screen was an OOP vending machine problem. Code a vending machine that needs to track inventory and return correct change in denominations of 5, 10 and 25 cents.

The interview process was very well-organised and transparent. The recruiter maintained excellent communication throughout and was both professional and responsive. Each person I met was well-prepared, asked thoughtful questions, and had deep knowledge in their respective fields. Overall, the experience was positive and gave me a great impression of the company.

Recruiter call followed by tech screen. Same question others have described. I provided a working solution but was rejected for reasons unknown. No feedback was shared. Not a good experience.

Interview Process:
1) OA - easy/med leetcode
2) Technical Phone Interview - Work solo for 1 hour adding requirements of a given take-home assignment for both frontend and backend. Then 1 hour with interviewer to discuss what you have done
3) Hiring Manager Interview - talking about your projects
Overall, a simple process. Although, the hiring manager I talked with seemed to be annoyed and was cold. No pleasant introductions, straight to the point.
