Applied on craigslist and heard back immediately. When I got to my interview, it looked like a typical start up, a couple desks in the middle of a room with a bunch of random things written on a white board. I arrived early while the CEO was finishing up another interview for the same position I was interviewing for. I overheard a couple of his questions- something he asked her was what her background was (what her race is). A question like this would never be asked in a professional interview. I asked the CEO a little bit about the company and how long it's been around for. He told me he's been working on the company since he was 19. It seemed odd to me that it still looks so much like a start up in it's first year. He went on to tell me how many responses the ad on craigslist received for the position I applied for and that there is a lot of talent in this area. Something else I thought was odd is that he said only two of the three currently offered positions are paid.
