The beginning of the interview process started with a questionnaire that was sent to me via emailed, after I had replied to the online application process. That questionnaire was approximately 6 questions and asked for me to include a writing sample. After about a week, I received a call from Katherine arranging a time and location to meet for a one-on-one interview. She encouraged a local coffee shop to do the in-person interview. When she arrived, she had brought her 1 year old son and a caregiver to watch him while we spoke. The baby cried and was visibly upset by seeing his mother on the other side of the lobby, so he sat with us midway thru the interview.
