I did an online interview followed by a project and in-person interview, I got the job. I quit my job and spent the next 3 months preparing for relocating from the UK to Germany. Ending subscriptions, sorting out accommodation of my flat, arranging new insurances and accommodation in Germany. One week before I leave the UK I had a short meeting with Hugo Boss HR who told me my new contract is cancelled due to hiring freeze. I am now unemployed.

As with a few of these interviews I had the same experience of being interviewed multiple times only to eventually be ghosted. Very unnecessary and rude etiquette and a complete waste of everyone’s time.
