Friendly, casual virtual interview. The manager was professional and kind. She asked the typical interview questions and asked for references. Had to complete a basic editing skills test. Overall a pleasant experience.

While the overall interviews were great, they kept us waiting for hours between the interviews. My only issue with the company was that they offered around 50% less than what my expectation was...even lesser than what I earned as a freelancer. They refused to acknowledge my freelancing editing experience of two years..and wanted to offer compensation based on a non-editing entry level job done years ago! While they did revise their offer after I declined their initial offer (obviously), my overall impression was they do not respect their personnel enough to offer them proper compensation.
