I had a very disappointing and disrespectful interview process with this company.
In the beginning, I enjoyed meeting with HR, the hiring manager, and higher-level team members, and honestly had a great experience. The interview process was going well and everyone was nice and respectful to me.
I went through 3 rounds of interviews and this process went by fairly quick and within a few weeks I was told "we will be making offers to you and another candidate... I need to have it posted for 5 days per our compliance then will be routing your offer." (this was after being told they were creating a 2nd job req for this position."
I was very excited to work here and start, however, the following week they reached back out and told me that "some internal candidates were now in the mix." Curveball.
I was then dragged on for three weeks and was told "Apologies on the delay with this and change of direction as we have had an overwhelming response of internal interest for the role and things are shifting to move forward with an internal candidate."
This was very disrespectful to my time and this lacks integrity. I am disappointed in how things were handled and have never heard of anyone get told they were going to get an offer and then pivot weeks later and go with internal candidates.
It sucks being on this end of the stick, so to anyone interviewing with this company moving forward, I wouldn't believe you're getting an offer until you physically have it.
