Applied to h&m in May and did a follow up with a call a week later and was told buy the associate they would notify a manager. Took a month to finally get a call which was a phone interview. Questions were tell me about your previous work experience. Why h&m. I had previous retail experience so they asked me what i was familiar with. Asked what does customer service mean to me. I was then asked to come in the next day for a group interview. It was four of us being interviewed by the district manager, store manager, and a sales advisor. Very relaxed and friendly environment. Interview was hands on we were in the stock room and had to each work together to check prices and count specific items a team building exercise. At the end had us each fill out a background check. Less then a week i was offered the position!

It was lovely, very interactive. Getting to meet new people, seeing the H&M store was really nice. The supervisor was really professional and warm. First we got to know each other, then did a question and answers round with everyone, situation based, customer service based, questions to display your skills etc, talking about H&M values and then we had a group task, to come with a outfit based on the provided situation.

Group interview, asked us questions like what's our hobbies and why do we want to work at H&M. We then had to work in pairs to choose the importance of certain scenarios that we may come across. We then were given a scenario in a group and had to go around the shop and choose an outfit suitable for that scenario. We ended the interview being asked two random questions about the brand or anything in general.
