      J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Gusto (Denver, CO) en oct. 2019

      Entretien

      Gusto has a unique hiring philosophy as they are scouting for people who fall under the skill set/responsibilities of the job with culture. If you have the relevant experience then you should get an email from a recruiter welcoming to speak over the phone so the team can get to know the real you. This is a time where you should shine bright and speak about your relevant experience and how you can commit to the company. After having a positive experience with a ‘People Empower’ (P.E aka Manager) I was asked to come in for an on-site interview to meet with the rest of the team! Before your interview, the recruiter Ashleigh was very helpful with tips on how to get ready for your onsite interview. This information was useful as it laid out their expectations including a schedule. As I arrived to Gusto, I was welcomed by the receptionist who had free socks for me (wearing them now lol) since the office is a shoeless environment! I got a full tour of their awesome perks and office! The interviews were broken into 3 blocks, I first spoke with a team member of the health benefits transfer team where we focused on more on specific skill sets about the job and how can I apply mine to the team! I later then spoke with a PE, where he outlined more info about the role and what relevant experience they are looking for. Lastly, I participated in my first ‘watermelon interview’ with a ‘People Specialist’ (HR-learning & dev) and had a pleasant experience! During this interview, I was able to be my true self and focus more on Gusto core values. This allowed me to express my motivation alignments, personality and how I can contribute to the company. I know this review was lengthy, however I wanted to provide insightful info and tips. They are looking for people with culture and who can represent their core values! Gusto has a mission to build a team with people who value their business success with ‘culture enchantment not culture fit’. Most importantly, gusto values their employees to maintain a winning team. The perks and benefits are beyond what most companies offer which makes everyone happy. Hope this helps! Happy Employee = Happy Company 😊
