J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Guitar Center (New York, NY) en juil. 2011

Interview wasn't bad. I wish i studied more before the interview. They asked question like 'whats the difference between a balanced and unbalanced cable, pick up patterns, name 3 keyboard manufacturers. I just didn't like the fact that they weren't up front with telling you whether you were hired not. Not hard to say yes or no. I keep calling back for about 2 weeks - 'Call back. Managers on vacation -_-. However im glad i didn't get the job because I heard the pay was horrific. =(

Well thought out interview pretty easy, I thought it went well but didn't get offered a position. I still feel like they are a good company although I heard they changed there commission structure in the past few years.

Simple and to the point. They want to know if you fit into the company culture. They also want to know what your skill set is as far as musical ability. It is very easygoing and relaxed

Felt like I was being interrogated or discriminated against, as if this were an important career. Dude, you hire high school students. Give me a break. Avoid applying to guitar center.
