The interview took a few weeks. The first interview went very well, getting to know each other and the company. The second interview was with the COO and that was mostly all about business. She gave me more details about the role, she was transparent and you can tell she wants the best people working at GrowthPlug. I appreciate the third interview with the CEO which really engaged me and was though provoking. Great conversation getting to know me and my motivations for leaving and interest in GrowthPlug.

I first heard about this position by receiving an email from GrowthPlug's senior recruiter, Jessica, who also facilitated the first interview. We set up a phone call in which Jessica provided an overview of the company and the position. She was very personable and did a great job of peaking my interest in pursuing the role. I then interviewed with the COO, which was a quick Zoom call to review my qualifications and interest in the role. The final interview was with the CEO, who asked a series of questions regarding not only why I wanted the job and how I would be a strong candidate but also about my life and who I am as a person. I really appreciated that he wanted to get to know more about my personality, my goals, hobbies, etc. This 3 stage process was relatively quick and I value that the team at GrowthPlug was very responsive. Additionally, I would like to highlight that throughout this process, Jessica was extremely supportive and encouraging, which replaced my nerves with excitement as I went into each interview. I believe having this support allowed me to thoroughly portray myself and my abilities in relation to the position. She reached out to me after each interview and genuinely wanted to know how it went. Also, she made herself available for any questions I had. Overall, I would say that this was one of the best interview processes I have ever gone through because I felt as if the team truly wanted to get to know me and to ultimately succeed.

Writing this review for candidates so that they can SAVE their TIME, EFFORT & ENERGY while seeking employment with this company.
The interview process is extremely lengthy and convoluted. An interview process is expected to have 2 -3 round of interviews but this job expects you go through numerous conversations and complete a full fledge project.
Presently, I have had 4 consecutive interview conversations with first the recruiter then senior CSR and then 2 conversations with the CEO yet, they expected more and want to push the candidate beyond their limits. I gave all the 4 interviews with the best of my ability and it seemed to be going very well even the interviewee's provided positive feedback on my interview skills and they seemed to be impressed by my knowledge & ability.
However, I would like to add a couple of things about the two conversations I had with the CEO. First of all, he was late 30 minutes for the interview, (my time was not valued) Sudhir had a very non-chalant & unwelcoming attitude. Secondly, he asked unprofessional & very personal questions such as " Tell me about your family? " , "Tell me more about your siblings and where they live." (and some other non-relevant questions) due to which I was shocked and taken aback. Thirdly Sudhir was a bit intimidating as he mentioned a couple of times that the role was very difficult and kept on saying "Are you sure you want to get into this trouble?" , "Are you sure you are ready for this challenge? "
Given the time I had already invested with all these interview conversations, I was expecting to receive some sort of employment confirmation or job offer email but instead I received an email outlining that I had to meet the Indian team and conduct further one on one conversations with various team members and then prepare and present a power point presentation about my learnings. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. A candidate's time is also valuable and they really need to stream-line their hiring process to acquire qualified candidates.
Reading that email was the last straw for me and that is when I decided to pull the plug on GrowthPlug.
