Proceed with Caution – Lack of Professionalism and Poor Communication
The interview experience was disorganized and highly unprofessional. The company showed a blatant disregard for my time and demonstrated a poor understanding of what a professional recruitment process should look like. Communication was vague, expectations were shifted without notice, and the leadership team seemed ill-prepared and unable to clearly define the role's responsibilities or scope.

My interview process with your team went very well, and I truly appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the role and the company. After careful consideration, I’ve decided to accept another offer that I feel is the best fit for my goals at this time. That said, I’m genuinely grateful for the time, effort, and interest you extended throughout the process. Thank you again, and I hope our paths may cross in the future.

Question 1
As we continue to evolve and look for ways to differentiate in the market, what would you bring to the table in terms of newness and freshness—whether that’s through product, process, or perspective?"

HR reached out to me to recruit me for a position at the company previously. I reached back out and they requested to schedule a Teams/ Zoom interview. They asked me about my work background and experience even though they had seen it all previously on my LinkedIn profile. I then met with the design team the following week in-person. After the in-person interview, they gave me a small design test to complete at home a few days later. They scheduled a second in-person interview to review the project and meet another VP. A week later HR asked if we could schedule time to talk later that day or the next. I told HR I was available to talk either of those days. They then canceled those times and requested we talk a week later. HR was then 15 minutes late for the virtual meeting, rushed through the video call to tell me the team wants to hire me, and gave me brief details on the company benefits. A couple days later I received the least professional and uninformative offer letter ever. They had changed the terms that we had previously discussed and agreed on, and refused to discuss further or negotiate.
