Entretien
Referred to the consultant role after interviewing for a Product Manager position previously.
Steps were straight forward and the process took around a 3 weeks start to finish. It was over the holiday break so there were gaps to accommodate for that. The recruiting team was responsive and helpful.
Breakdown of process:
1. Initial Recruiter call - 30 minutes
2. Hiring Manager call - 45 minutes
3. Take home assignment - ~4 hours
Call from the recruiter to provide feedback from the take home assignment.
4. 'Virtual' on-site - 4 hours (5 interviews)

Before the on-site they sent over useful information about how to prepare for the 4+ hours of sitting in front of a Zoom meeting and interviewing.
The structured interviews are what Greenhouse is known for promoting. I recommend reading their blogs for examples of questions and how they do structured interviews. Mainly with behavioral and situational questions - ex. "Describe a time, provide an example, give a situation when". All competency based interview questions. I added some of the questions they asked below.
The 'virtual' on-site was a different experience than I had ever had before. The tips document sent before was useful. Overall it is the direction that many interviews will head in the future. saving the time and money for both sides. It is tough to not be in the same room as someone who you would be working with but I think they did a fair job in evaluating despite the remote nature of the interview.
With the nature of a structured interview the interviewers do have computers out and are taking notes, which can feel disconnected vs. how interviews were handled traditionally. I did not mind but I could understand how folks can feel disconnected to the person they are talking to. I would recommend having a paper with the questions and the interviewer doing hand written notes to quell this complaint/issue.
