      Entretien

      Greenhouse in general and recruiter AJ in particular were open, communicative, enthusiastic, and honest through the entirety of the process. Communication was clear and efficient. First an email from the coordinator, then a phone screen with the recruiter, then a phone interview with hiring manager followed by a take-home test. A few days after submitting the take-home test, I was scheduled for a ~3.5 hour block of onsite interviews including 1:1 segments with potential teammates and a more casual group chat with people outside of the department for a "culture add" interview. Once on site, I was made to feel very comfortable and was given a dedicated conference room to settle into with interviewers coming in (or in one case, conferencing in) each round. A very nice touch from a candidate perspective, as was the carafe and glass of water. Every individual was highly engaged and had given the role a lot of thought. Holidays and vacations may have extended the process a bit--4 weeks seems more typical than the 6 I experienced beginning to end. The only aspect that could perhaps be fine-tuned is the fact that there could be moments during an interview that don't quite flow conversationally. Having been on the other side of the structured interview process, though, I understand this is a consequence of asking very clearly defined questions and taking extensive notes.
