      I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter within a few days of my application. The phone screen with the recruiter was basic. The recruiter asked routine questions which I easily answered. I was contacted the next day by email saying they did not wish to move me on to the next round of interviews because I was not "empathetic enough" toward customers. Wow! I was taken about because I've been in my career for over 15 years. If I wasn't empathetic, I would not be successful as a CSM. I felt the real reason was ageism because I gave several examples during the interview which tipped off the recruiter that I was likely over 35. Greenhouse is a young tech company and I'm certain they want to keep a certain demographic of employees in most departments in the company, especially client-facing roles. So be forewarned, if you are over 35, Greenhouse will probably not be the best fit unless you are seeking a role that is recruited by "older" recruiters or more experienced HR personnel. Unfortunately, ageism is very common during the interview process.

      Didn’t get past the case study. Interview with the manager went great but unfortunately I didn’t make it through the case study stage. All in all it was a Very thorough interview with several steps.

      So this process is Intense but it makes sense as to why it is this way. They want to make sure you are a good fit and understand what you are getting into. Just be yourself and not give stale answers (try telling stories) and be about the customer. 1. Initial phone screen 2. Meeting with Potential Manager 3. Presentation on a project they give you 4. 3 hour panel Interview I go through all the rounds and they made me an offer today! Im so happy!
