This review is about the very first recruiter phone screen. I didn't pass the recruiter phone screen, which I gladly accept - maybe my qualifications don't meet what they're looking for. But there is something to be said about this initial phone screen - the recruiter sounded completely unenthusiastic, barely responded to my answers, stayed really quiet and uninterested the whole time. As an active job seeker who's going through tons of interviews every day, the difference in the skills/professional attitude of the recruiter was day and night for me within the first 3 min of the call. I would've expected better, more professional recruiter interview from a recruiting software company. Again, I can happily accept that perhaps my skillset is not what they're looking for, or I am not experienced enough - but I don't think the aloof attitude of the recruiter would've helped in any case, me having the right skillset or not.
