First, met with the receptionist who I would be replacing to discuss the job duties, then I met with the executive who took me around the nearby park for a series of laps under the guise of a friendly walk to discuss my hobbies and what I would bring to the company, then more and more interviews with different people. By the time noon rolled around, I was exhausted! This all took place after I successfully passed two phone interviews and a written assignment.
In the back of my mind I knew that I didn't get the job because the atmosphere felt artificial to me, despite the glowing reviews of being one of the best places to work. I was like a fish out of water; I simply didn't belong there.
