They barely interview you and have you jump into these tedious case studies before they'll even consider you for an actual interview. They ask for digital marketing strategies for the company in a case study. Beware, they might be taking your ideas.

      Question 1

Digital Marketing Case Study, Success Case Study.

A good thing I came to Glassdoor after my first round of interview with HR and saw the previous interview review because they're doing the same to me as well. I had a brief conversation with HR for the initial screen. She said I sounded like a good fit for a Digital Marketing Manager role and then proceeded to tell me there will be two case studies to complete. I did find it a bit odd to have this assessment so early in the interview process without speaking to the actual hiring manager. One of the case study seemed normal - it asked me to provide a detailed case study on a previous success which is totally fair and normal. The second one is where I was concerned - asking me to complete a COMPREHENSIVE marketing strategy to help them acquire accounting firms. That is literally their entire business model and why they're hiring this role - it is help them come up with strategy to acquire more accounting firms so they can become one of the top 100 CPA firm in the US. Isn't that what they're hiring for? Why the case study to do the entire job before even being hired? They also asked for both to be completed within 3 business days. That is a lot of work for such a short time frame when it is literally an entire job. I will not be continuing.

      Questions d'entretien [2]

      Question 1

The objective of this case study is to outline a comprehensive marketing strategy to attract firms that are interested in being acquired. Questions: 1. How would you approach the design and execution of campaigns to effectively reach the appropriate firms? 2. What methods would you employ to identify potential firms that are ready for a transition? 3. How would you leverage segmentation and targeting to enhance acquisition efforts, and what strategies would you employ to maximize the reach of your advertising campaigns targeted at the identified firms? 4. What key metrics would you use to measure the success of the campaigns?

Thank you for sharing your candid feedback regarding our interview process. We genuinely appreciate your insights, as they help us continually refine and improve our approach. We understand that requiring a case study early in the process can feel demanding, especially when asked to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy. Our intent with these assignments is to provide candidates with an opportunity to showcase their strategic thinking and relevant experience. We strive to balance meaningful assessment with respect for each candidate's time, and your feedback highlights areas where we could improve that balance. We value transparency and want to ensure that our case studies feel fair and focused, and we’re taking your experience into consideration to refine our approach. Moving forward, we’ll be re-evaluating the case study requirements, including timing and the depth of analysis we’re asking for, to better align with candidates’ expectations and make the process more considerate. Thank you again for helping us see this from your perspective. If there’s anything more you’d like to discuss, please feel free to reach out. Wishing you all the best in your career search,
