For this role specifically, we're looking for builders - people who take initiatives and are able to build. You had mentioned that you held some projects you had built on your LinkedIn profile which is why we went there. Additionally, this is an IC role and I did not get a good impression that you could work independently nor work unsupervised. When I had asked you how would you solve a technical issue you were unsure of, you said you would ask your supervisor. Given this is a lead role, we didn't feel confident in your ability to deliver.
