My interview process was probably a-typical. My interview for an intern position during my last year of law school was slightly informal due to HR communication issues. I only had one round of interviews but it was a marathon of an interview lasting almost all day.

They asked for a short writing sample, less than two pages.

2 directors asked about general interview questions, including tell me about yourself, strengths and weakness, any prior accounting internship experiences. There were no technical questions which were asked in the interview, mostly behavioral and conversational.
Pretty simple. Just two rounds, back to back (30 min) with two different people in the same department. It was all behavorial questions and mainly just concerning my resume. Overall, they were very nice and it was good experience.

2 interviews back to back, one partner, one senior manager. STAR behavior questions. Overall very go with the flow, but must show concrete examples and no technical questions asked .
