Met recruiter at a job fair and had what I thought was a fruitful, enjoyable discussion. Gave her my resume and card since they didn't have anything open for me at the time. A few weeks later, same recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn for this role as it just opened up. She didn't remember me from the job fair and the initial phone screen was pretty awkward as she couldn't terminate the conversation and she just seemed like an absolute robot reading a script. The next steps were to complete a weird cognitive assessment and a personality inventory, and the tech they used was broken, so I was unable to record my screen. I asked the recruiter on what I should do since both exams were completed but the software failed to capture my screen. She never replied. A week later, I sent a follow up, and she never replied to that either. The next weekend passed and I was emailed a rejection notice. Horrible experience. I'll never apply to this company again.
