I recently had the opportunity to interview with Grain for a Software Engineering role. The interview process was well-structured and started with a preliminary phone screening, followed by a series of virtual interviews with different team members. The overall experience was pleasant, and the interviewers seemed friendly and knowledgeable about their respective areas. However, my experience with the company's communication left something to be desired. After investing significant time and effort into the interview process, I was informed that the position is not going to be filled at this time. While I understand that this can happen in the hiring process, it was disappointing to learn this after multiple rounds of interviews. I believe better communication could have saved both parties valuable time and effort.
