J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Gordon Law Group (San Francisco, CA) en avr. 2023

      Entretien

One 30 minute video screening and "2-part, timed writing test". Red Flag #1: Initially they said they wanted to hop on a call and I then provided my contact number. Then they said they were going to send a link to a video chat instead. Red Flag#2: I explained my background, but they had no time for me to ask questions regarding team dynamic. Red Flag# 3: Issuing the writing test. They had asked me what my time of availability was in the next two days after the video screening. While they were accommodating of my availabilities, I offered to work on the exercise on my own time after work hours (assuming it was a third party link) at 8pm and on a Friday during a lunch break since I work on-site and didn’t want to use my current employers computer. Not knowing the format of the exam either, I thought it was odd they also chose to conduct it at my suggestion of 8pm since they said they would also personally send me an email at that time. When I got it, the instructions said it was to be filled-in reply to that email -- which I found to be a very OUTDATED medium. The way they timed it is based on when the email was sent and the 35 minute time frame to complete it/send it back. In addition, the email didn’t even have the appropriate boxes to fill in my answers with. Also it didn’t sit well with me that the attorney also wrote in the email, that if I had any problems to contact him immediately - then I later find out that he just auto sent the email at 8PM. So, if I did contact him about it, he wouldn’t have read it at the time anyway? Instructions said they would send the second part of the writing test immediately after the first part was completed/sent back - to which they did not. Red Flag#4: I contacted them the next day about it and the attorney I was in contact with said they FORGOT to AUTO SEND the second part. Overall, it seems they are very outdated and unorganized. I ended up taking the second part of the exam 2 business days later since they kept reaching out. I expected to not take the job/be offered one after that. It was a mess.
