A video call, where they ask some math and coding questions. Usually they ask to explain a fundamental concept of ML, and the you have to implement it. Little by little complexity will be added to the problem,
Initially got contacted by a researcher and sent application documents to a recruiter. They set up an interview to talk about my previous research experience. Overall, the process was smooth.
