Recruiter Call: A conversation with a recruiter to discuss your background, interests, and alignment with Google’s culture.
Phone Screens: Typically 1-2 rounds of technical interviews conducted over the phone. These focus on problem-solving, coding, and system design.
Onsite Interviews: The most critical phase. It consists of 4-9 rounds (currently conducted via Google Hangouts). Topics include algorithms, data structures, behavioral questions, and system design.
Hiring Committee Review: A committee of Google engineers evaluates your performance across all interview rounds.
Team Matching: If you pass the interviews, you’ll be matched with specific teams based on your skills and interests.
Salary Negotiation: Once a team match is confirmed, discussions about compensation and benefits take place.
