      Entretien

First call was phone screen with recruiter to discuss background, aspects of the job not posted and salary requirements. 2nd phone screen was with hiring manager via Google hangout which was behavioral. "Tell me a time when...." Final interview was onsite. It started with lunch with 2 potential co-workers where I was driving the conversation- able to ask all the questions in our allotted hour. Both were relatively new to the role and didn't have a lot of insight into the nuances of the team and management but could provide interesting perspectives from a new comer vantage point. Next I had 2 - 45 min behavioral interviews with the hiring manager and a manager of a related team I would work closely with. The hiring manager was not well prepared and attempted to find questions from the interview bank. The other manager was very personable and allowed time for getting to know you type questions. Finally I met with a Chief Officer over the 3rd leg of the group I would interact with. He started with a few behavioral questions and then dove into a case study. He assumed because of my background I would understand the terminology he presented but I had to ask for clarification. When attempting different questions to gain further clarity I found myself going down a rabbit hole so I had to refocus on the ultimate outcome. I didn't answer one of the questions originally asked in the case study but was able to answer trailing questions and demonstrate an ability that I understood the information and had a logical thought process. All in all the experience was enjoyable. Hands down the recruiter was the best I had ever worked with. She spent time with me before every step in the process to explain what the team was seeking and what to focus on. I was pleased and would go through it all again.
