Applied online to then being invited to a 1st formal interview which was setup quick and then to a 2nd informal interview which was a week after the first one Interviewed at Chelmsford store
I arrived at the store for my scheduled interview and initially had to wait, as the manager was assisting a customer, which was understandable. However, after concluding with the customer, the manager proceeded to step outside to take photos of the store rather than acknowledging my presence. It was only after a further wait that I was finally recognized and brought into the interview room.
The interview itself was very brief, consisting of only two questions before I was given the opportunity to ask my own. At the conclusion, the manager stated that I would receive a response by Friday or Monday at the latest. However, as of today, I have yet to receive any communication.
This lack of follow-through reflects poorly on the professionalism of the hiring process. Being left without any response after a scheduled interview not only wastes a candidate’s time but also suggests a disregard for basic professional courtesy. I would have expected better communication and respect for applicants' time.

Don’t get me wrong I wanted the job badly and I did my best to smash the interviews which I know I did. They called me up on a Thursday for an interview the day after. They called me a week later for a second interview on shop floor. They said 2 weeks ago we’ll be making a decision soon. I’ve sent them emails and nothing. It would be nice if you ring your applicants back to tell them they didn’t get the job and also give them feedback so they know what not to do and to improve on. Thanks molly for not giving me that call back. I really appreciate it

Phone interview was fast and pleasant called me back within 50 minutes to offer a face to face interview . Face to face interview I felt went really well was relaxed and had a good chat, manager was really complimentary on my portfolio and was advised I would hear later that week but it took 2 weeks, one chaser phone call and a email to head office to ask about my application to then receive an automated email to say I’d not been successful.
