Very good. Interviewer was cooperating and made the interview a nice experience. Gave the positive feedback . Two questions on programming and details about the projects that i had done during the university courses were asked.

Not that bad due to them being desperate to attract talent since their reputation is far from desirable. Multiple rounds like most companies today. Recruiter was alright. Nothing earth shattering to say the least.

I had an interview with 2 tech employees who asked me various tech questions and also about my previous experiences. This interview was followed by an interview with engineering managers who also asked me about my previous experiences.

Probably the worst interview experience I have ever had. After a really nice call with the recruiter the team decided to move forward with me to the next step which was a homework to evaluate my skills. It was said that the homework was designed to be done in just an evening but it is not true and the project was not that small. It was not hard at all but the amount of work was not that small to be done in just an evening, it took more time than that. I do not want to go into details but if you know you know when you see the exercise. After spending quite a good number of hours on it I submitted the solution which I think not too bad, not perfect for sure but at least it was complete with all the tasks/functionalities done and working. But then all I got was just an automatic email saying they would not be moving forward with me without anything really human involved nor feedback nor reason why I was not selected. At the end, we are all humans, it is normal that companies choose to go with people they think are good fits and pass those that they think are not but I guess candidates deserve a bit more respect than what I got given the time I invested to do the exercise. For those that are considering applying, take your own risks when you decide to do the exercise and be aware that there's a chance that GoTo would treat you like they did with me.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We recognize the significant effort you put into the assignment and understand how frustrating it is not to receive more detailed feedback. Respect and transparency are core to our process, and we’re committed to doing better. Wishing you all the best as you move forward.
