"When did you begin your undergraduate studies?" was a more obvious inquiry. I've never been asked this question in an interview before. In any case, it was obvious that she didn't want me there. I didn't get an offer and forgot about it. However, three months later, I ran across an old, younger, colleague currently employed at GoStudent. I told him that I had applied and had an interview, but that I had been unsuccessful. He replied that I shouldn't take it personally because, due to my age, I'd never be able to get in. He told me that the company exclusively employs employees between the ages of 26 and 32.
