I only went for the first stage. I was invited to the second one but I found the paper that I had to review too far from my interest (mostly focused on Chemistry). The initial stage was informal and I felt like I was given this message that one needs to work hard with no such expectations for salary upon joining them. However, this was not verified and is just my feeling.
