I applied off the job board and got an invite to a take-home coding assessment on CoderByte that was *timed* to 45 minutes. I passed with 2 minutes to spare. I moved on to the next round which was a one-hour live coding interview. It was challenging and I didn't get through the whole thing (15 more minutes and I would have). I thought I did well enough to at least garner the third "Systems Design" interview, but I never heard anything. I tried reaching out to the two people who I had been in contact with, but nothing. Right after my interview, one of them switched to a "Briefly Out of Office" auto-reply, which persisted more than a week later. I'm wondering if I got put on some kind of blacklist. Anyway, the two interviews required a lot of prep and stress on my part and it would have nice to get some feedback, at least a 'thank you for your time and interest'. Feels very unprofessional to just get snubbed like this.

Question 1
Live coding assessment required knowledge of recursion, lists/arrays, and hash maps. Question was a process related to the work they do, so no weird computer science "riddles", but you do need a good knowledge of data structures and recursion.

Entretien
I, too, was ghosted by the hiring team after advancing to their technical interview round and completing their assessment. They explicitly stated in their communications with me that they would follow up with feedback on the assessment, only for me to never hear from them again despite attempts at following up. I did not appreciate this lack of professionalism, especially since I was very intentional with my time when applying to their role, and scheduling a few hours for their assessment.
Why bother putting me in touch with not one, but two of the hiring recruiters, and a timeframe of 10 days for provide feedback on the assessment, if you were never going to communicate again?

The coding assessment will require 2 uninterrupted hours of your schedule. Be skeptical if they claim they'll follow up with you
Initial call, followed by a coding exercise. You are given a task and 2 hours to complete it using your language of choice.
I completed the task but haven't heard anything back from the company ever since. Very unprofessional.
