I recently applied for a position at Givaudan and wanted to share my experience with the HR process. Despite being referred by a current employee, I found the handling of my application by HR to be quite disappointing.
While I understand that not every application can lead to an interview, I was surprised by the lack of professionalism exhibited by the HR department. Despite assurances from the referring employee, it seemed my referral was not given the consideration it deserved.
Furthermore, communication from HR was minimal, and there was a noticeable lack of transparency throughout the process. As a candidate, I believe it's essential to feel respected and valued, regardless of the outcome of the application.
Overall, my experience with Givaudan's HR department left much to be desired. I hope they take steps to improve their processes and ensure that all candidates, especially those referred by current employees, are treated with the professionalism and respect they deserve.
