No scientists should waste their time with this company, they rescinded an offer twice. Please read below: I had a phone interview and shortly thereafter was invited out for a day long in person interview. I gave a 1 hour research seminar and then met with about 10 people individually. There was a large emphasis on behavioral questions and my ability to work in a team. One week later I received a call from HR that they wanted to extend me an offer. She refused to give me a written offer unless I accepted. I asked for some time to consider and two days later (only 3 days after the offer was made) I was told the offer was no longer available. Five weeks later I was called by a manager within the company asking if I was still available and interested. He explained the offer was revoked because a manager had suddenly quit but they still wanted me for the team. I explained that I had other interviews etc but would certainly consider an offer. This time I was given a written offer and 1 week to decide. I asked for an extension and they refused. I had a conversation with an HR rep about the details of the offer, negotiating some of the points of employment. They raised the salary but refused to budge on anything else and asked for a response one day later. Then suddenly, that same day and more than a day before the deadline on the offer, I received an email telling me that they 'do not feel we can come to mutual agreement and they are rescinding the offer'. The HR rep also did not answer my phone call. I would warn any scientist from considering this company. My experience with them was very unpleasant. There is clearly no stability if they cannot leave an employment offer on the table for 24 hrs. It was so unprofessional. Furthermore, the HR people I dealt with were very rude.
