My initial interview with the recruiter was possibly worst interview I have ever been a part of. Interviewer rescheduled the call 5 minutes before it was scheduled to begin. Once we were able to connect the call felt rushed. She made no effort to tell me about herself, the company, or the role. She asked me for details about my background and had a smug arrogance that this company is so well known and desirable that there was nothing to discuss. The format of almost every question that she asked was “tell me a time you…” one after another. After the third time it clearly felt as if the answer to her questions mattered very little and that the entire call was merely a formality. It was shameful. After the interview I asked the interviewer 4 different questions about the role and she didn’t know the answer to a single one. She had very little understanding of the work that she was asking me to share stories with her about.
