I then received a call from the consultant indicating that the company wants to move ahead with me and asked me about my previous salary and my expectations. I gave the required information. He told me that the HR will call me in few hours. The HR never called. This was towards the end of Dec. When I enquired from the consultant, he told me that the HR will call after some days because the team is on a holiday during the new year. I patiently waited. By the end of the first week of Jan, there was no call from the consultant or from the HR. In the meantime, I received two more offers. The GMP role was really close to my liking so I decided to wait for it. In the meantime, I kept the other two offers waiting risking my credibility. Now it is the end of Jan, the HR has not called yet. I wrote to the HR but received no reply. I came to know through the consultant that the HR read my email. But I received no reply and not even an acknowledgement. I have accepted another offer now and very happy that I am not a part of GMP. I can only say that all this is HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL and UNETHICAL. I am sure the company founders never intended this to happen but in the end I faced a lot of problems and almost lost other offers. In my entire professional career, I have never faced such experience. Would request everyone who is reading to think twice before applying. I wasted two months and it can happen to you as well. Do not resign until you get the offer letter although I am not sure about that as well. At this point, it is extremely hard to trust them. Request to the company - learn to be professional and open to the candidates. It is a simple Yes or No answer. If you expect people to respect your time and your brand then learn to do the same.

The interview process was well structured and transparent. The HR clearly explained the mode of interview, the nature of the discussion, and who I would be speaking with, which helped me understand the process thoroughly. The entire process was completed efficiently within 4–5 days.
