I just had an interview in General Phonics. This company was a wired company and their management is chaos. Their general manager invited me for a job interview two weeks again. After I submitted my application form including my employer and salary history to their general manager by email . There is no any feedback from him. I just thought they may be not interested in me. Just yesterday, another staff from their HR asked me to go for an interview this morning and to bring the application form again. It's a little bit rush for me. But I still manage to go for the interview. I went to General Photonics, and their staff brought me to a conference room and sat down. The president and owner, Dr. Yao, entered the conference room, I stood up and greet him. And I tried to shake hands with him. He did not response me and said nothing. He sat down quietly and opened his mouth: "Because of your airs and graces, there is no necessary to have an interview" Then he left the conference room and leave me alone. This interview last less than 1 minute. During my whole career time, this is the first time, an interviewer old me about this. I thought I maybe offend him somewhere but I do not know. After carefully reviewing my behavior there, I do not believe I did any thing wrong. After checking the salary reviews in Glass-door for General Phonics, I may find the reason: the salaries of my current/previous job are much higher than the salary they may offer for the interviewed position, also much higher than their average salary. Just feel the company management is very chaos and the owner is rude and not professional.

Submitted the resume on Monster.com. Got contacted within one week. The hiring manager is the first one interviewing me, asking about my researches listed on my resume. Then, their owner and CEO spoke with me two times, one on phone while the other is video call on the skype. He asked me my researches again and some simple optical questions. Offer was sent to me two weeks after the interview. I declined this offer due to several reasons. The package is really bad, low salary, bad benefits, ect.. They do not have any guideline. What you would have is just depending on the CEO's decision. And I think he want to try to save money from his employee badly. No onsite interview, low salary, and he likes to let the new employee start the full time job as an intern for one year or more... Really bad experience. I felt there would be no future working at General Photonics, so I declined this offer. At last, I do not recommend working at this company if there is another option.
