The interview process was fairly standard, but please be mindful they have a horrible referee policy. They insist that all candidates must have 2x referees who are their direct managers from 2x previous jobs. Doesn't matter how long ago the 2nd previous job was, or if the current job you have 2x direct managers. It must be from different employers.
If you cannot get these two specific people, they will reject your application, regardless of how well the interview went. Obviously this is not achievable for many people, as certain managers may not be available, may have passed away, on holidays etc. The recruiter got very defensive and dug her heels in when I explained this is not possible as my old manager from 2 jobs ago is not available for referee, but I have 2x direct managers from my current job who are happy to be a referee. This was not good enough for the recruiter as they denied my application immediately, and put their job listing back online, so I can see that they didn't even hire someone else. For a disability service, their recruitment process sure is inaccessible.
