When you have to give around 8 interviews for a role, it means that you expect the interviewee to invest a lot of time in the process. It is disappointing then when you come across interviewers that don’t have the right domain knowledge or haven’t even read your CV properly. While some of the people who interviewed me asked technical and relevant questions, others did not. In fact I spent one whole interview trying to convince the interviewer why the cause was important. At the end of investing so much time and effort I wrote a thank you email to the hiring manager but wasn’t even given the courtesy of a response. Never applying to this company again!

Screening interview with in-house recruiter, followed by separate virtual interviews with two hiring managers. Emphasis on past experience and vision for the role, which was new to the organization. Recruiter was extremely communicative throughout the process and I was kept informed of my status in a timely manner.
