Great way to add insult to injury. I was also surprised with a writing exercise that I was requested to complete a week before my final interview that really threw me off guard, wished my recruiter or the hiring manager would have given me a notice early in my interview process about a 90-minute writing exercise before asking a candidate to complete a critical writing assessment over Memorial Day Weekend.
