Long, tedious, with a mind-blowing ending.
It started with a screening call of 15 mins, followed by a 40 min behavioral-based interview with HR (around their values). Afterwards, I had a 1 hour sales role-play with a senior HR person + behavioral based questions. After that, I got invited to a panel interview in which I had to do another sales role-play + a presentation about myself, why I´m the best in the world and why I love Gartner.
Annoying, but it is a highly reputable company and compensation is really good, so I went all the way.
Now the funny part...2 weeks before the last panel interview, the HR guy told me that the position had been filled out by someone who had been in indetermined sick leave due to some serious health issue, who unexpectedly came back. He suggested I still do the last interview and in case it turns out successful I´d be added to some sort of "waiting for an offer" queue. 4 interviews in, 1 panel left, what a waste of time and disrespect....I swallowed my anger, and decided to still do it "just in case". Panel interview was successful, and now I am in the "waiting for an offer" queue. It´s been 8 months and never heard again from Aled from HR. Such a waste of time and effort.
