      Entretien

      The process was long and difficult but rewarding in the end. It is a four step process, starting with a phone interview, then a longer phone interview, then a video interview, and finally an in person interview in Florida. 1. Phone Interview: Basic questions about who you are and why you want to do sales and are interested in Gartner. They want to know a little work history, but also some character traits you have and your interest in the industry. 2. Longer phone interview: This is about 45 minutes to an hour. They ask a little more about you and your motivations but then really focus on the behavioral based questions (see a few below). 3. Video Interview: Mine was fairly relaxed, although this was the stage I was probably most nervous for. The interviewer is now someone who has had or is in sales not just recruiting so they want to really know why you chose sales. They will also ask you to tell them about Gartner and what they do. At the end you will have a short, 7 minute or so, sales call. This focuses on just the needs identification part so be ready to ask good questions. They will act as a person interested in signing up for your business/service and you need to figure out why and how to get them in. 4. In Person, on sight: This one can be intimidating as you are likely going to be with 20+ other candidates. I arrived at my hotel the day before. The day of we were all picked up on a bus at 7 am and taken to the facility where we were greeted and taken through introductory meetings, tours, and 2 sets of interviews with a pair of interviewers. You will be asked to do a presentation of your accumulated knowledge of the company, why you want to do sales, and maybe a behavioral question or two. At the end of your interview you will do a longer mock sales call (around 15 minutes). They will give you context for the mock call before you arrive for your interview. Once completed you go back in the main room and the recruiters will tell you if you are offered a spot or not. Overall the process was great. My recruiters provided me with great insight and feedback throughout the process. It was all done very timely and I felt very good about it after. I would suggest having a lot of questions to ask during each step.

      Entretien

      The interview process was composed of five steps. 4 steps were interviews on the phone with recruiters, steps number 3 and 4 including a little sales role-play. The final step was in person in the Barcelona office with the recruiter that was there since the beginning of the process, a manager and the VP of sales. Overall, the process was very smooth and I was very well accompanied receiving constructive feedback (very helpful!) from the recruiter between each step. They really want you to do well and give you all the info you need to succeed. Special thanks to Roberta !

      4 rounds of interviews: 1. Initial phone call & Gartner Introduction 2. Phone call consisting of "Tell me a time when" questions 3. Continuation of stage 2 with more detail and a phone call role play 4. Assessment day with another role play From my experience the recruitment process overall was excellent. It was was well organised and they gave candidates tangible feedback on how to improve. The company is big on coaching and likes people who can take advise and continually develop. If you have done sales before it should be challenging but not too difficult. Also make sure you apply for other jobs simultaneously as I feel the company took me more seriously when they knew I was applying for multiple roles.

      Entretien

      A 4-stage interview process, with the initial 2 on the phone, the 3rd being video and the 4th and final stage being a panel interview after spending some time in the offices with the opportunity to talk to members of the Recruitment team, and a recently hired salesperson.
