I applies for the Armored truck Driver/Guard position that they where advertising. Once i got to the interview i was informed that the Armored truck division in Garda was located in the Quebec branch only. Meaning Ontario Garda guard are unable to apply for those position and the Ontario licenses are not recognized on Quebec side.

Entretien
Straight forward interview, either you're qualified or you're not. Experience is typically helped whether it's driving or security guard, and Highschool diploma/GED is required as far as the education background.
Phone interview first then in person. Background checks take a bit long. No cons. Supervisors are down to earth. Really easy interview.i was hired within a few weeks of the interview. Garda is still hiring more people. The job is easy for good $.

Entretien
It was pretty open. I sat down and we got straight into why I wanted to work there and how I had heard of them. The hiring manager was pretty frank about the situation with the job and how having attention to detail is very important.
