Process usually begins by receiving a follow up call from the manager you applied at. Typically you'll need to go in to the store once or twice a week to try to talk to the manager or else you are likely to be ignored. The store manager will have to clear your application with his District Manager before he can talk to you and that can take some time since DM's usually have a million thing going on. You'll typically have to do two interviews, one with either the manager of the store you are applying at, or possibly one with another manager from a different store. If you succeed you will usually have to move on to an interview with a DM.

      Question 1

There weren't too many difficult questions, mostly just your past sales experience and a couple "How would you approach this?" questions.

I had put in my application in February and received a call in April when they were finally pulling for hires. I set up an afternoon interview a few days after the call. At the interview, i had to wait a moment until the manager was free to take me, but we went to the back and had a seat in the stockroom/office. Pretty standard interview questions at first, then the manager said "that's enough of that. Your turn. Ask me about the positions, I'll be fully honest." It was conversational, i asked him about if i needed to expand my knowledgebase at all to work there and he assured me that in the process of working there, one gathers knowledge from people who've played the games, who've seen the videos and follow franchises online. That's where the real training comes from... as well as from the manufacturers who offer benefits for completing online training (Discounts on new products, giveaway merchandise and such). All-in-all a very comfortable interview.
