I was contacted by Recruiter for phone screening. After phone interview she said she was excited to share my resume. I had the 1st round interview with hiring manager/team. They asked series of questions about my Quickbooks experience. The hiring manager did most of the talking. I was scheduled to meet with HR the next day. HR was quite bubbly and said I was the favorite of all the people that had interviewed . Up until this point , the Recruiter was following up with me regularly. After my interview with HR the calls and e-mails were scarce. However, another person from HR reached out to me to complete online application which contained some sensitive information. I thought I may have an offer at this point. I called the recruiter to verify this information, the recruiter contacted me on the next day to let me know the team decide to move forward with another candidate. What a slap on the face. I have not interviewed in awhile, but this brought back memories of how people will look you right in the face, laugh with you and lie to you. It’s terrible to request sensitive data prior when there are no plans to make offer. The decision from the team was probably personal as anyone can work out of Quickbooks, it’s a mom & pop system that you can teach yourself if you need to. I see why this company has a review rating of 3.2
