On the first day there were two rounds: The first round was a computerized skills test. Next was a preliminary panel interview where I was asked generic questions.
On the second day I was interviewed by the firm's MD, Senior Education Consultant and two of their HR personnel. The session concluded with them telling me that I am being considered for the job and they will let me know in a few days.
It has been more than two weeks and I haven't heard from them since. Apparently, it is the norm in Bangladesh for HR personnel not to contact candidates to let them know that they are not being offered the job.
It was my error in thinking that being a UK based firm GSL Education's HR personnel, would not act like the run of the mill Bangladeshi company HR.
This is very poor behavior from a firm that represents itself as a recruiting agency.
