I applied for a machine learning engineer position and the first phone interview went very well. I then received an email stating that I would not be considered for the role but I had been put forward for their AI residency programme. I then had an hour long video call with one of the programme leads about my research interests and experience, which I also felt went very well. The next stage was a further 1hr 45min interview consisting of STAR based questions and a technical. This stage did not go so well but I was ensured I would be informed as to whether I had been selected for the next stage within a week. I never heard back from them despite multiple follow up emails.
