The recruiter called to inform that I have 14 years of experience instead of 15 years, and my salary requirement was below company standard. Hence, was rejecting me and I should consider another lower grade role which has 10 years minimum requirement. No understanding of my actual profile was done and the decision to reject me was done only on numbers. When I called out that the call seems to be a formality to reject, I was told that she was doing me a favor by calling instead of ghosting me or sending a no explanation based rejection email. If this represents GSK work culture, am glad that am not part of the organisation and whatever I hear about the company is wrong

Good interview with hiring manager but HR essentially said not to bother with second stage as I was too senior for the role. Quite bizarre but I suppose makes sense as not worth dragging the process on further.
HR screen followed by a one on one interview with hiring manager. Job description for the open role was not consistent with the questions asked during the interview and the expectations of the hiring manager
